CMRC Ontario Provincial Championship
CMRC OPC round
at Fourwinds MX Park is a 3 Moto format event held over two days of racing Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th July.
We are also offering an optional day of practice on Friday 2nd July from 2pm - 7pm. As everyone is off for Canada
Day on Thursday 1st we had decided to run a long weekend event where people could make it worth while to come race. This
event will give the riders a great warm up for the Walton Trans Can to be held in August as we are running basically the
same format just slightly condensed.
There will be lots of Canada Day give aways all weekend,
hats, t-shirts, gift certs, etc. We will be doing a 4x4 Rock Crawl demonstration Saturday evening around 6:30pm to show you
guys the newest form of motorsports we have added to the facility and I'm trying to arrange some Trials bike riders to come
and do some stuff on the courses. Theres also going to be a bonfire for everyone to meet around on saturday night and I will
light it around 8:30pm. For this event I have ordered a set of bleachers for the event and they will be positioned up front
in the vendor/spectator area at the fence line I had them in for my Rock Crawl event and they were excellent so if you have
family that want to come out and watch you ride they now have a good veiwing point. I have installed
a bike water fill up station for people to fill there barrels it will be located beside the office, its a 2000 gallon
tank with a 2" water pump attached and fire hose for quick fill and I will keep it filled right through until
Sunday. We have had wood chips brought in and spread infront of the office, down vendors row and in the staging area to reduce
dust in those areas.
With this being a three moto format apart from the Pro's who will
only run on the Sunday. We are going to try and schedule the event so as to run slightly longer on Saturday and finish in
good time on Sunday. I will be working on the actual race schedule over the weekend along with the head ref for the event
and hopefully we will have it all set by mid week and up on the website. Saturday morning there will be practice but on Sunday
after Pro practice we will go straight into racing and the first set of moto's in the morning will just get a sighting lap.
If any classes have more than 40 riders register then riders will be split into two divisions based on their Provincial ranking and
they will run two moto's and at the end of that then an A and B final will be determined. For all first moto's I have
decided to use the proviniclal standings for gate picks after that it will revert to finishing order in the previous
moto. I think I have covered most everything for now please do check in on the website as I have hooked up a twitter
account to the website for intstant updates especially if any news needs to get out quickly. Below is a schedule for
the event weekend and all the fees. See you all at the races.
