Open Practice ThursdayThe facility will be open for regular Open Practice Thursday from 4-8pm. It is suposed to be hot so bring lots of fluids with
you to drink. I will be watering the track from early morning and all day to get lots of moisture into the track. The track
will be ripped late afternoon and continue to water most of the time practice is running. We did the few changes over
the weekend that we needed to. I raised and lightly extended the landing of the triple in the middle as a lot of riders had
been saying they were over jumping and flat landing off the jump. The other change was the little table heading out the back
and we just moved it back towards the double about 20-30 feet which means your not landing and turning into the corner anymore.
These were just cosmetic changes but ones that I had heard riders talk to me about so like I've said before I listen to what
you guys are saying when its constructive and will change and try to improve on what is already there. See you all Thursday
night for practice.

Rock Crawl EventWell we got our large excavator in yesterday and we were able to completely finish the last of the courses by dark last night.
Everythying is now in place and ready to go all we need now are the trucks to arrive and the spectators to show up. I
decided to bring in one of the ble3acher systems which will arrive this afternoon. This should allow for some good veiwing
for the spectators. I have also been able to make it available for spectators to see the courses from all four sides along
new fence line. The Vendors should be arriving early evening to be set up both the 4x4 guys and consessions stands. The
weather is supposed to be in our favour as well with the possibiltiy of some light rain early Saturday morning (approx 1mm)
up until 9am and then cloudy with sunny periods and Sunday is sunny all day. So bring the family out for some great action
and fun.

Rock Crawl Event Sat & SunThis weekend sees Fourwinds MX Park promote our first 4x4 event ever. We are glad to welcome all you 4x4 enthusiasts to
the park and hope that this event is as entertaining as it looks to be to me. Some of the courses that Jamie & Brent of
T.H.O.R. have designed look like they are going to give some trucks and the drivers absolute fits in trying to navigate them.
We were still there last night at 9pm and will have everything completed by this afternoon as we had an equipment problem
which is now rectified as I have the excavator coming in a day early today to finish off placing some of the big rocks. This weekend should have something for everyone as we will be holding our MX Test & Tune practice session from 11am
- 4pm so for you 4x4 guys this wil give you some idea as to what normally goes on at the facility. For you MX guys this is
a great opportunity to watch something completly different that you probably have never seen before. Some of you did get to
see a little bit of it last weekend as we did the press day on Saturday evening so tell your friends to come with you and

Thursday MX PracticeI stayed behind after the event on Sunday evening and put the track back together after the event so all I need to do today
is water like made as the weather is hot and sunny. I did leave a couple of ruts in a few corners for those of you who have
asked for some rougher spots and ruts on practice days. Anyway track will be ready to go for 4pm when open for practice. See
you all there.

This week at Fourwinds MX ParkWell this week our focus has turned to 4x4 Trucks. These aren't your regular 4x4 trucks though as they are fully rigged and
modified to crawl out over some really crazy looking obstacles for the first ever T.H.O.R. Rock Crawl Event to be held at
the park. We have been working feverishly all last week and over the weekend to bring in all the material needed to build
these obstacles and yesterday we finally got 90% of the obstacles finished and in place. We are now just waiting on some
more truck loads of natural rock to be delivered and to then set them into some of the obstacles. All you 4x4 Rock
Crawlers need to thank Jamie & Brent from T.H.O.R. for all they're hard work over the last couple of months and especially
the last week on helping to get the this event all organised and the courses built. I think you will be very happy with
what you find when you all show up for the weekend. I am heading to the park now to take some more pictures of
the courses that are laid and post them on the website tonight. All event details will be posted tonight on the website
in the Rock Crawl page.

UpdateOk so everything is running to plan for once and I'm touching wood as I say that. The material all arrived today for the
NEW drive way yes you heard it I'm laying a drive way into the facility and it should all be down and laid by Friday at 4pm
when the gates open for the weekend. So no more wet slippery entrance to the facility anymore. I will probably only get the
first half of it done before the weekend but with the weather forecast now calling for sunny warm temps and no rain it should
be perfectly fine anyway. For those of you that haven't been to the track this year your going to find a lot of changes
both with the facility and the track. Basically the whole track was re configured and only four jumps were un altered in any
way. The layout is reasonably the same just some tweeking and a lot of sand has been added to the longer straights. The rythm
sections have been changed a couple of new corners, new starting line set up, new finish line, some extra parking area in
the pits, a Rcok Crawl course for 4x4's and some new watering set ups and some new equipment. I will be posting
the events details later tonight or first thing in the morning so keep checking in.

This week at Fourwinds MX ParkWell things are shaping up nicely for this weekends double header event at the facility, with LDR racing on Saturday &
the CMRC EANQ on Sunday. I just finished the building of the new scoring and announcer tower beside the new finish
line tonight alls left is to put the siding and top rail on tomorrow and its will good for this weekend. The bails arrive
tomorrow evening to line the corners and edges of the track and all the new signage is up and ready for the weekend. I also
finished all the new flagger atands on the sides of all the jumps so as they are very visible to all. All the staff are booked
as well as are normal food vendor M.O.M.S serving fresh hot food all weekend and in addition I have booked two new
alternative food vendors one serving fresh country donuts and the other is all confectionary (nuts, candy floss, fresh smoothies)
if the kids weren't hyper enough eh moms. The track is in perfect shape even after all that bad weather
that caused the cancellation of all the events over the weekend. My equipment (dozer and excavator) arrives Thursday morning
just in time to put the final touches to the track for open practice Thursday evening 4 - 8pm. Then Friday I will start back
into the track to have it in prime condition for the weekend. Keep checking in throughout the week for updates on news &
scheduling for the weekend as I hope to have a pre event schedule ready by Friday afternoon. gates will open friday at 4pm
for those wishing to beat the rush for good camping spots.

Rock Crawl Event NewsWell half load just came off on Island Road so I have scheduled for the first loads of Rock to come in. I expect 3-4 truck
loads of the medium size rocks to arrive late Monday afternoon followed on Wednesday with a couple of pretty big
rocks coming in on a flat bed float. This will give us a start and then on Friday I expect to have the loads of concrete
piping start to arrive hopefully we can get all three float loads of those in and can start to build the courses Friday
- Sunday. I met with Jamie at the facility last week and have spoken with him a couple of times this week with regards to
building the courses and everything seems to be in place to get everyting done by the end of next weekend. Hopefully by the
end of next weekend we will be able to get some photos taken and downloaded on the website to give you guys some idea of what
everything is looking like. I have had quite a few locals talking to me with interest in this event and I have
already arranged a photo shoot / Interview to be done at the facility with one of your drivers for the local paper. I'm hoping
that the other local paper can come out and do the same and the articles can go in the papers the week of the event which
should give your sport some added outside exposure. As soon as we have some photos or some new news I will update the blog
for you.

New Practice ScheduleWe are now able to offer additional open practice sessions. Last year we only opened on event weekends for practice (which
was what I had intended on doing again this year) but after a lot of people had voiced their desire for a weekday practice
session, I have arranged for Thursday evenings. I will still have open practice on event weekend Saturdays as well. I
had the facility open on Thursday night past, even though it was on short notice I had a reasonable turn out and everything
went well with regards watering, dust control which was my main concern and the property owner was pleased enough with
how it all went in that respect. I hope those that came out on Thursday evening enjoyed the riding and
condition of the track for practice and I will endevour to keep the track in great condition for all practice sessions.
For the full practice schedule of dates and times for the rest of the season please refer to the Practice Days Rules
& Fees tab in the menu bar. Hope these additional practice sessions helps a lot of you guys out for somewhere to
go during the week.
