NEW Open Practice Day on ThursdaysI have just been able to get an agreement on opening the track for some regular practice days. I will now have the track open
on Thursdays for open public practice from 4pm - 8pm. I have had a lot of people asking for a week day practice session to
return so I had a talk with the property owner and was able to come to an arrangement for Thursday evenings starting this
Thursday. I did have to agree to not open on two dates though one of which is next Thursday May 6th as there is a conflict
with previously arranged family social with the property owner. Well lets see you guys show up now that you have
expressed that Thursdays were the ideal day for you guys to practice. The track was completely rebuilt Sunday night after
the LDR event on the weekend and I will rip and water on Thursday prior to practice starting. Everyone at the weekend that
spoke to me and some that relayed it through e-mails thinks the new track layout and changes that were made are excellent
and the the fact that the track can stay so soft now. Any way hope to see you guys this Thursday when we open.
PLEASE
NOTE; I will have the updated practice schedule posted on the website later today or tonight so please check it out.

First Event of the 2010 season this weekendWell the first event of the 2010 race season at the facility is this weekend. We are hosting the LDR season opener and it
looks to be a good weekend. Gates will open Friday @4pm for those wishing to camp over. Everything gets going
saturday morning at 9:30am with the LDR pre season school with a slew of top instructors such as national #8 Liam O'farrell
and Orange Motorsports top amateur Richard Grey. The school will run from 9:30am - 1pm. Open public practice will get
under way at 12:30pm and run to aprox 5pm. Everyone is welcome and last weekend a lot of people took advantage of the
facility being open and to try out the new track layout which had nothing but great reviews from the fast riders to the not
so fast. I will be grooming and watering the track today and early evening in preperation for tomorrow so it will be in top
shape. Sunday will be the LDR season opener with classes for everyone and all abilities hey I may even race
a couple of classes that alone is worth watching . Sign in starts at 7:30am - 9am riders meeting 8:30am followed by practice. There will be Day passes available and are as
follows. If you area CMRC member the day pass will be $10 if you are not a CMRC member it will be $50 ($10 for the day pass
and $40 for the Non competition CMRC Licence) or you coudl just join the club for the season. If you have any questions regarding
this please contact an LDR Director which you can find on their website www.ldrmc.org and they will be glad to answer any of your questions. Hope to see all the old faces and some new ones this weekend. If
there happens to be further important news regarding this weekend that should arise I will get it posted on the website.

Track Preped and ready to go for Sunday PracticeJust home from prepping the track for tomorrows practice 10:30am - 4:30pm. Re laid the entire track tonight after practice
today and watered it for the morning. Will rip and water some in the morning and re face all the jumps not that they really
need it as there wasn't that many riders showed up today. It was a bit cold but I thought I would have saw few more riders
out today but i guess it wasn't warm enough for some. Anyhow we will go back at it tomorrow and hope to see a few more out
than today.

Saturday 7:30 am *Track Update*Virtually no rain came down overnight, enough just to keep the dust down for the first part of the morning. Finishing
prep on the track, we will be good to go at 10:30 am. If things change in your area, call for track updates. It's
a cold morning.

OPEN for practice Saturday & SundayI will have the place open Saturday & Sunday for open practice from 10:30am - 4:30pm both days. I know you guys have been
itching to get out there and ride by all the calls and e-mails I have had over the last few weeks so heres your chance to
try out the new track layout. I had Kyle Keast come in on Tuesday to try out all the changes and everything was great just
had to make a couple of minor changes to a couple of things and I finished them today. I hope everyone enjoys
the new layout as we took a lot of time to think it out not only to make it challenging enough for the expert rider but as
safe as possible for all riders. We believe it flows a lot better and all riders should find it much more fun to ride. Please note that all riders will need to sign in at the office and NO ONE will be permitted to ride on the track if they
have not filled out the proper waivers and sign up forms. If your under 18 yrs you will need a legal guardian with you to
sign you in, anyone looking under the age will be asked for proof of age so if you think you look younger then bring
some age verification with you I wouldn't want to have turn you down. There will be no exceptions made on this. All riders
will be checked at the staging area prior to going out on the track for the correct stamp or wrist band on there wrist
no wrist bands on bikes will be excepted. Track will be fully prepped and ready to go Saturday morning so get ready to
ride. See you all on the weekend. I know the forecast is calling for rain Friday but the place is bone dry and can do with
some good moisture. If it doesn't rain I will have the water truck prepped and ready to go early Saturday morning.

NOT open this weekendUnfortunately mother nature has got the better of us for this weekend. With today not being very clear all day and then getting
hit with the snow flurries late afternoon and the -2 degrees for the over night temps tonight its impossible to get the place
into any riding shape. Believe me I wanted to open more than most of you but it just isn't going to happen. I will have the
place open next weekend as the weather forecast is looking really good for all of next week. I will once again update the
blog early next week as well as adding some of the photos of the new track layout by the end of the weekend.

New track design rebuild completedWell after a long six days and over 60 hours on the heavy equipment the new track rebuild has been completed.
While Jamie Keast and I went to work on the rebuild last Friday morning and Kyle Keast stopped by on Saturday and Monday
to test and give us his point of view on everything I finally finished everything up Wednesday morning just before the
rain started. We believe the track will be much more friendly for racing that it will allow for a lot more passing in spots
and now flows a lot better. The only things that didn't get changed in any way were the three main straight lanes in the middle and
four of the existing jumps everything else got a complete face lift and changed. The only thing left to do right now is put
the new start line together along with the start corner, it will remain in the same area only you won't come straight back
up towards the pit area which will make for a tighter 180 degree first turn rather than a 90 sweeper. I wasn't able to get
any photos done yet due to the rain put will as soon as possible. We have taken an awful lot of rain at present with
it still raining when I left the facility tonight at 7pm, I had Kyle meet me there at 4:30pm to take a look at the condition
of the track. Therefore I'm not hopeful in getting the track ride-able for this weekend due to the fact that the entire track
has all new fresh soil on it and I do mean the entire track. We took a lot of fresh soil from different parts of the property
to put on the track and completely re-graded the interior of the track area to allow for good drainage and it is working from
what I could see today but the problem is that with the soil so fresh on the track itself its saturated. I won't make a final
decision until late tomorrow until I see how things are but the forecast isn't very promising with showers called for
and only 8 degrees as a high. I know that the forecast for Saturday and Sunday is decent but it still isn't calling for
anything more than 10 degrees on Saturday and 12 degrees on Sunday. I will keep you all posted as to exactly what
is decided and will post up here tomorrow early evening around 7pm.

Unfortunately NOT open this weekendI am unable to open the track this weekend for a couple of reasons. Some of my paper work isn't ready yet from
Native Council because of a back log but I have been assured it will be ready by next wednesday so as we can Open for practice.
The other reason is that I only got all the equipment droped off today late in the afternoon so I haven't had the chance
to work on the track. I will be starting the re design of the track tomorrow along with Jamie and Kyle Keast. I had an excavator
and dozer dropped off today so we will be able to get the work all done by the end of the weekend. Once we've finished I will
fire up some photos of the new sections in the track. Its actually a bonus not being open this weekend as it will allow
us to completely concentrate on the re build and do a great job with it. As always I'm changing things up for you the riders
so as you aren't always coming back to the same track year after year. The new layout should eleviate a couple of the
problems that i thought the track had as well as making the track flow a bit better. Anyhow will post up the pics when we
get it finished so hope to see a lot of you out next week.
