SCR event CANCELLEDDue to the 3 hrs of thunder storm today from 4pm to 7pm it was decided to cancel and try to re-schedule the event for another
date. The riders and families that were already at the track were called together and everything was laid out as to the weather
forecast for tonight and tomorrow and with the amount of rain already recieved they thought it better to cancel. Hopefully
we can re -schedule for another date.

** Track Update**Track has been turned over to allow the air and wind to dry it out a bit. Will be muddy in the morning but should be good
once riders start riding it. A couple of places like the rythm had water in hollows but drained and should be fine by morning.
Will start back on the track at 5:30 am turning it and rotar tilling it will try to update again in the morning.

**Update** Track ConditionWe had a thunderstorm come through at 6:30 pm. There's no lying water on the track. We will be using the shortened
version for practice tomorrow. Track will be turned tonight and again in the morning. The forcast is calling for
no rain in the morning with scattered showers at 4:00 pm.

Track ConditionsAfter all the rain yesterday I wasn't looking forward to what I might find this morning when I went to check it out. The track
is actually in very good condition we ripped it open some more this morning and will then work it again tonight and rotar
till it all up and it will be in great shape for tomorrows practice. The pit area is vertually dry when I left at 2:30pm so
no worries for any of you SCR guys coming in tonight to camp. The drive way in is a bit slick yet so I will have you turn
off it just after you come in through the gates and on to the grass for tonight. I will put a further update up on the conditions
tomorrow morning early for those of you traveling for practice. Practice will go ahead as planned as of now if we get a thunder
storm or something of that nature I will let you all know. Practice will start at 9:30am - 4pm like normal.

Track Championship Points standingsI will have the full results and revised points standings up by the end of the week in the track championships page. Entries
where down about 20% for the OPC round last weekend but we still had qualifiers in the MX2 Jnr class which was good
to see. A quick recap on the event which went pretty smoothly with long motos (12-15 min moto's) for
every class. A lot of the Provincial championships were decided on the day with the stand out being the second moto
ride by Churcher who took the gate and rode the moto slowly as he may have had a possible broken bone in his wrist just
to score enough points to win the title. There was a really good turn out of 50cc riders and a quick note for all those parents
with riders outside the top ten I must apologise as I left the box with the extra trophies at home but if you e-mail
me I will get them to you. We were suprised to see the turn out of some top Pros at the event with current national
No1 and Blackfoot Team rider Colton Facciotti, Team OTSFF riders national No3 & No5 Tyler Megdalia & Kyle Keast, Team
KTM Orange motorsports rider No19 Kerim Fitzgerald as well as Machine Racings Ryan Gauld, Chuck Mesley and returning
for a ride Trevor Hall. The track was in great shape in the morning but as the winds and sun picked up and with the
hard fast racing going on the front section of the track took the worst of it packing in hard which made for some gentle
controle of the throttle by the riders on some of the blue groove. The back section got really rough which a provincial
track should but stayed soft for the most part. We will work on that front section for further events to create the best
possible riding conditions for all events wether it be a local club event or a provincial event. Hope for the most part
everyone enjoyed themselves and congratulations to all the 2009 Ontario Provincial Champions.

Open Practice this saturday & SCR Event SundayOpen Practice this saturday 9;30 - 4pm. Track will be groomed and ready for riding. Normal fees apply and it is open to
the public. If necessary we will split it into sessions of big wheel and Super mini. The 50cc riders will get a few sessions
on the cut version that will be run for them on the sunday for the event. We welcome Steel City Riders club this weekend
for their annual July event with us. We always look forward to the SCR club event as its one of the true club events where
you have to be a member to race and things are a bit more laid back with the family orientation. Don't get me wrong guys though
I know there is still some serious racing going on at the event. For those who are coming up friday to camp over the gates
will be open from 4pm on. Keep watching for more info later in the week.

1am and a quick update on track and the weekend. The track is completely ripped and watered for saturday practice. The
new sections of the track that have been put in will be open for practice. I have had quite a few calls from MMRS members
asking if there will be a day pass available for this Sunday. I talked it over with Brett and we will be able to offer days
passes for this event they will $30. So nows your chance to try out the CMRC if you haven't already this provincial should
be great. The line up of Pros looks like being the strongest of the series. Keast, T Magadaglia, Kerim Fitzgerald, MeZ,
Gauldy, and possibly J Mag. Remember this is also the second round of the Fourwinds Track Championships if you need to
find your positions and points tally look in the "Track Champioship" page on the website. There are some tight battles
going on. I will try to update tomorrow evening on everything.

CMRC Provincial Event weekend schedule and infoSJG Fourwinds MX Park Presents the Final round of the 2009 Ontario Provincial Championship this Sunday July 12th. As quite
a few of you know the last event in May was a bit of a debacle with regards the track so we have worked really hard at making
sure that doesn't happen again. I purchased a new water truck and have had it up and running for a couple of the local events
and it works great. The track will be in prime condition as we started ripping and laying water from Wednesday afternoon.
and will continue to work the track and lay water as needed until the event. The weather is supposed to be good both Saturday
for practice and Sunday for the race and with the gas prices at they're lowest for the last 12 weeks its a perfect weekend
to come riding. The track will also be all bannered up and will look more like a national than a regional event. I will
have water available this time for bike washing fill up, i have assinged one of my 2000 gallon water tanks to the pit area
hooked up with a 2" pump for those wishing to fill there tanks at the track. Please note though that the water tank will
be full friday night filled again for saturday morning and then again for saturday night, if I have time late saturday evening
when I'm done with the track prepp it will be filled and ready for sunday morning but I won't be filling it on sunday
at all. We will be running our normal Saturday Practice sessions from 9:30am - 4pm. Practice will be run in sessions
with the groups being Pro / Inter - Junior / Beginner - Super Mini and the 50cc classes will get three practice sessions on
the cut version of the track which they will be running on Sunday for the event first session for them will be at 11am. As
normal we will have our flagging crew out on the track at the jumps and we would ask that all riders obey the flags. We will
have our medics on hand as well for the practice. ALL RIDERS MUST be signed in for practice and have the correct coloured
wrist banned on their WRIST (not on the bike) to get out on the track for practice. For any further info or details please
check the website as I will be updating it from the track from friday afternoon on. This weekend will see the top finishing
Yamaha Rider and Kawasaki Rider recieve manufacturers product - Yamaha Race Gear Bag - Kawasaki 10x10 Pop Up. If you have
won this at a previous Provincial you will not be eligible to win another. Also for the both 50cc classes I have got 5ft trophies

CMRC Provincial Chamionship Final RoundThis weekend we are hosting the final round of the CMRC Provincial Championships. Track prepp started on wednesday and
will continue thursday and friday. We have had our new water truck running for the last few events so we won't have any issues
this time with dust control. A few changes to the track are also being made to allow for some extra passing lines. The
starting line has been slightly altered but the main thing was that I scrapped and removed all of that bad dirt off the start
corner. Kyle and Jamie were out last night with me helping with the ideas for the changes and Jamie will be back with me today
and friday to get it all done. Racing should be really great this weekend as all the Provincial Champions will
be crowned by the end of the day. As well the pro class will have a lot of the national contenders attending as
they are on an off weekend and will be getting some extra race time in before Gopher Dunes National next weekend. Practice on saturday will be from 9:30am - 4pm and will be run in sessions. Pro/Intermediate - Junior/Beginner
- Super Mini if we need to split this further we will. Also the 50cc riders will be given three practice sessions on
there cut track that they will be running on sunday, the first session will be at 11am. Please chack back later tonight
for more updates on schedule, awards and other things for this weekend.

the start line the front straight and into the first turns. The track will be worked all week to put it into prime racing
