The organisers of the event called me two weeks ago and I totally forgot to post it up on the website. They have decided to reschedule the event for the end of september. They didn't think they would get the turnout due to the ECAN starting this week on wednesday. When the date is confirmed with them I will post it up on the website.

Due to the weather of last saturday and the cancellation of the saturday practice and LDR's Sunday race event we have re-scheduled all of it for this weekend. Practice will start at 9:30am saturday and run through to 4pm. track will be prepped like normal and watered well friday evening and continued as needed saturday. This is as normal an open public practice day you do not need to be a member of any organisation to be able to practice the fee is as usual $25 per rider.
The weather for this weekend is hot and dry all day saturday about 26 degrees and for Sundays race event its supposed to be nice in the morning and early afternoon with the possibilty of showers later in the afternoon. Keep watching here for more updates for Sundays race event I will post an update saturday evening and again early sunday morning like I didi last week.

Due to the amount of rain yesterday the track is too saturated with water.  We have worked from 3:00 am to get it going, but it doesn't matter how much we scrape, there is too much water in the soil.

I have been sitting at the track since 5:00 am watching the rain steadily come down and it doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon.  I have no choice but to cancell today's practice. The weather forecast for the rest of the weekend states that the rain should subside by late afternoon and tomorrow will be sunny and warm 26C.  The LDR event will definately go ahead as planned.  I had preped the track for the chance of rain and it will be in good shape for tomorrow.  I will post a further update around 9:00 pm and a further update Sunday at 6:30 am with track conditions.

This Saturday will be open public practice from 9:30am - 4pm. Track will be fully groomed and ready to ride. We will be running big wheel / small wheel & Ladies sessions like we have been doing at most of the practices this season when it gets busy. Normal fees will be in place $25 per rider. Track was bone dry so this bit of rain we got will help a lot especially when we rip and groom the track.

Sunday we have an LDR event. Day passes are available if your not already a member. Sign in starts at 7am and practice should start at 8:45am after riders meeting. The last LDR event went off great and had long moto's for everyone so riders got lots of seat time. Even with the 15 mintue lunch break for track maintenance the event finished at 4:15pm allowing everyone to get packed up and heading home at a reasonable time. Don't forget all you faster riders that they have the Open Class which is 100% payback to the top riders in the class the last event saw some great racing in this class with Justin Ferguson taking the top spot and cash.  

This saturday is an OPEN public practice for anyone wishing to get some riding in. We are hosting LDR MC on sunday for an event so why not make it a weekend and come practice saturday camp over and race sunday. The track will be fully prepped for practice saturday morning starting at 9:30am and will run through to 4pm. The new starting line was finally finished last friday and used for the CMRC Quad series last weekend. The gates are all fully prepped and behind the gate was raiesed so as to drain but more importantly to stop those "creepers" you know the ones that like to stay a few feet back from the gate before it drops so as to get the rolling start LOL. Anyhow looks like good weather all the way through not expecting rain until late sunday evening if at all. I will update again early saturday morning from the track.
